Marshall Health Network hospitals have been recognized for excellence in wound care. St. Mary’s Medical Center received a Clinical Distinction Award and Cabell Huntington Hospital received an Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award, from RestorixHealth, a wound care solutions company.
These bi-annual honors recognize wound care centers that demonstrate outstanding clinical outcomes and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Recipients meet or exceed national clinical benchmarks over a set period of time.
“These awards reaffirm our commitment to comprehensive care and the patient experience,” said Angie Swearingen, president of St. Mary’s Medical Center. “We are proud to be recognized for the high-quality, patient-focused care our wound center provides every day.”
“At Cabell Huntington Hospital, we are honored to receive recognition that reflects the trust our patients place in us and the dedication of our wound healing team,” said Tim Martin, president of Cabell Huntington Hospital. “Our goal is always to help patients heal, improve quality of life and deliver exceptional care close to home.”
